ঢাকা, ০৬ জানুয়ারি ২০২৬ (মঙ্গলবার): বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত অস্ট্রেলিয়ার মান্যবর হাইকমিশনার Susan Ryle আজ সেনাসদরে সেনাপ্রধান এর সাথে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন। সাক্ষাৎকালে, তাঁরা পারস্পরিক কুশল বিনিময়ের পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশ ও অস্ট্রেলিয়ার মধ্যে দ্বিপাক্ষিক সামরিক সহযোগিতা আরও জোরদারের বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন। আলোচনায় মান্যবর হাইকমিশনার সামরিক বাহিনীর সক্ষমতা উন্নয়নে অস্ট্রেলিয়া সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে সহায়তা প্রদানে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেন। এ সময় সেনাবাহিনী প্রধান ভবিষ্যতে দুই দেশের মধ্যে যৌথ উদ্যোগ গ্রহণের সম্ভাবনার কথা উল্লেখ করেন এবং সামরিক কূটনীতির পরিসর আরও সম্প্রসারণের ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন।
Courtesy Call on with the Chief of Army Staff by the High Commissioner of Australia
Dhaka, 06 January 2026 (Tuesday): High Commissioner of Australia to Bangladesh, H.E. Susan Ryle paid a courtesy call on with CAS at Army Headquarters today. During the meeting, they exchanged cordial greetings and discussed various issues related to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in military sector. H.E. High Commissioner expressed that Australian government is ready to provide support for the development of Bangladesh Military. Appreciating the proposal, CAS highlighted the potential for undertaking joint initiatives between the two countries and emphasized the importance of further expanding the scope of military diplomacy.
